What is Al-Anon?
Al-Anon is self-supporting organization whose members come together to meet and share experiences, frustrations, hope and strength. Based on using the traditional 12 steps as a guiding force, members actively engage in their self-recovery. Your anonymity at meetings is important and like AA, they are not affiliated with any government, religious, or other institutions. All meetings are free, require no membership or dues, and are located throughout the USA as well as worldwide.

Who is Al-Anon for?
For those of us who have family and/or friends who are alcoholics, there is an organization that helps us find a better way of life for ourselves. It is called Al-Anon.

Al-Anon meetings can be available 7 days a week depending on your location.

Why is Al-Anon important?
Al-Anon focuses on the friends and family of those who are alcoholics. Through Al-Anon, we find ways to cope with the ordeal of living life with an alcoholic. We deserve to have a fulfilling life and a life of happiness. Al-Anon will provide you with the support and tools you will need in order to have that kind of life.

  1. I am on a site that helps others with those coping with a love one in addiction. I am a member of both AA and Al-Anon. I have found that the internet is a great source on information and service work. Come and join us in fellowship.
