What is AA?
Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) is a self-sustaining organization whose main goal is to help those stay on the road to sobriety. They are not affiliated with any government, religious, or other institutions. All meetings are free, require no membership or dues, and are located closer to you than you might think.

Who is AA for?
If you or someone you know is looking to stay sober from alcohol you should be aware that there is an organization dedicated to help you in their recovery process. It is called Alcoholics Anonymous.

When is AA available?
AA meetings can be available 7 days a week depending on your location.

Why is AA important?
AA is an anonymous meeting. You may only give your first name if you’d like. There is no need to feel any shame or embarrassment by attending these meetings. You should feel some degree of comfort knowing that there are many people dealing with the same problems as you. You all share a healthy common goal to stay sober.

  1. Well, from my opinion Alcohol Anonymous is a group of men and women who have suffered from or are themselves suffering from alcoholism, and who turn towards each other in order to help themselves get rid of their addictions.
