What Happened to That Happy Go Lucky Guy? Answer: Alcoholism

I Just recently talked to my mom who told me that once again my brother and father got into another physical fight. I don’t blame my brother for his anger. He’s just as sick of my father’s alcoholism as anybody else.
I find myself wallowing in the past quite often. I think about all the times my dad was a happy go lucky guy. He played the guitar and was an awesome player. He could play a lot of Led Zeppelin tunes. My favorite was the Bron-Y-Aur Stomp. His musical tastes are what influenced me to love all that old folk rock music from the late ’60’s and ’70’s.
